Tom Capizzi Jr
Tom Capizzi Jr
Tom Capizzi proudly carries on the legacy of a family deeply rooted in the trades and home improvement industry. With a rich heritage spanning three generations, Tom’s journey in this field is a personal passion and a continuation of a family tradition.
Tom’s story begins with his grandfather, Anthony “Grandpa” Capizzi, a master fine-finish carpenter known for his meticulous craftsmanship. Grandpa Capizzi’s dedication to his trade laid the foundation for a family tradition of excellence in carpentry and home building.
Tom’s Papa, Joe Coughlin, was a stalwart in the customer service industry. His small store in Connecticut and later co-ownership of a Howard Johnson in Cape Cod were not just business ventures but contributions to the community. His final career as a new home builder in the 1970s, constructing high-quality, affordable homes, demonstrated his commitment to helping young families achieve their dreams of homeownership.
Tom’s father, Tom Capizzi Sr., followed in the footsteps of his father, Grandpa Capizzi, by learning the carpentry trade. In 1976, he established Capizzi Home Improvement in Cotuit, MA. Tom Sr. built the company on the core values of delivering high-quality work and keeping promises to clients.
Tom later took over Capizzi Home Improvement in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, he continues to successfully run the company.
In 2015, Tom Capizzi also became a partner in Marrokal Design & Remodeling in San Diego, California.
In 2023, Gary Marrokal retired from the home remodeling industry, leaving Marrokal in great hands with Tom and our experienced, award-winning team.
Tom and his award-winning team at Capizzi Home Improvement are not just committed to maintaining the high standards and innovative approaches that have long been associated with the company, but they are also dedicated to raising the bar. This commitment to excellence is a testament to Tom’s leadership and his unwavering dedication to his craft.
Beyond his career in professional remodeling, Tom loves spending quality time with his family and pursuing his passion as a professional race car driver. His journey involves excelling in both fields, striving to reach and succeed at the highest levels. His dedication to his work and personal interests reflect the balance and commitment defining his life and business approach.
