“When everyone else said no, Capizzi said yes! We wanted to make our old, tired, cramped 795 sq. ft. ranch built in 1960 into a more comfortable, spacious, modern up to date home. We had 2 home-builders and an architect tell us that renovating the old house and putting on an addition was not an option, we should tear it down. We couldn’t accept that so we had Capizzi come over and take a look. They said sure, they could do it. We sat down with their architect and the plans were drawn up. Capizzi took our old, tired, cramped 795 sq. ft. ranch built in 1960 and turned it into a stunning 1,900 sq. ft. 2 story house with gorgeous views of Cape Cod Bay. Putting a 2 story addition onto a house built in 1960 was no easy task, this was a complex project, we had issues with the grade of the land among other things, but in the end it came out great. We got everything we wanted in this house, Capizzi never asked us to compromise. What we wanted is what was delivered. Anything that didn’t come out the way we wanted was immediately fixed. The craftsmanship is outstanding, from the framing to the interior finish work. Even the hard to please town building inspector was impressed. People from the neighborhood keep complimenting to us how nice it came out! It was a pleasure to work with Capizzi. The staff at the office are really great as were the project manager and all of the tradesmen who worked on this house. We highly recommend!”

Dear Capizzi Home Improvement people,
I have just had a project finished by Capizzi.  New bathroom, GREATLY improved attic space and cellar finished with walls, floor, cedar closets and new stairway.  I am so happy with what seems like my new home.  Doug Cleary and Gary Gustafson were very knowledgeable and professional to work with.  The cost of the work was within what I expected and if Gary said something was going to happen or someone was going to be here, it did and they were.

I want to especially commend Jim Snidarich for his excellent work and work ethic.  He was faithfully here every day and I have total confidence that if he does something, it is done right.  His work is beautiful and if I ever do another project I want him to do the work!  I would also like to say that Ricardo and his team of painters are very professional and their work is excellent.  Ricardo spent a lot of time with me getting the painting ideas and colors just right and I appreciate it.  The final touch to the whole project was to refinish the 55 year old oak floors which have never been refinished in all that time.  I am very happy with the results.

Finally, Capizzi is not inexpensive but the quality of the work was very important to me and it was worth it.  I would recommend Capizzi to others and am happy to have this letter used as a reference as well as to speak with anyone contemplating using Capizzi.

We are writing this letter about the recent work done on our home by your company.  First we must start by saying all the people that worked on our home were most pleasant, friendly, and clean.  They made sure we understood what they were going to do and cleaned up every day at the end of work.  We were very happy to have all of the workmen and all of the sub-contractors here.

Aaron and Gary were most helpful and pleasant even when we seemed to ask a multitude of questions.  Dennis and his crew did a great job on our new roof and trim.  Our new kitchen is wonderful and in our opinion looks like something from a magazine.  We are happy with the overall project.

We were thoroughly pleased with your workmanship, expertise, attention to detail and the way you continually kept us ‘in the loop’ as work progressed.  Although this necessary renovation of our master bathroom required many different facets of construction, Capizzi made it seamless and we were pleased that you came in ahead of schedule.

Most of all, what was very important to us, was relying on a company that would diagnose the overall situation and provide us with a clear, concise estimate of the work involved and the cost.  As you know, we had two other well-respected firms look at our problem, but Capizzi was the only one that took the additional time to investigate and come up with specific answers and recommendations for us to consider.

Dear Gary,
Thank you for orchestrating my home renovation project.  This 100+ year old house needs regular upkeep and occasional major renovation.  I was looking around for a contractor who would have the skills and sensitivities to take on the current renovation project and deliver it to my satisfaction within reasonable time while Meg and I were living there.  I settled on Capizzi.  Tom Capizzi, Jr. came over to discuss ideas and price out the renovation plan.  After we signed off on the contract, he then introduced me to you, the project manager.

The project started on time and ended as promised 8 weeks later.  The drywallers, carpenters, electricians, and painters were great to work with; they all did a professional job.  They also offered useful advice and improved on some of the original ideas.  As the project went along, various new project additions were added, such as painting walls in an empty room when the ceilings were replaced and varnishing the entire kitchen floor when a section was replaced.  This added 50% additional cost; yet the project did not run over time.  In all, we experienced mutual flexibility and courteous interaction.  It was a pleasure seeing the work come to fruition despite some moments of frustration trying to live on a construction site.

The finished product is a real success which I now admire daily.  So do my friends.  It was a good experience working with you.

After meeting Aaron for the first time, we could sense the knowledge & professionalism we were looking for in a home improvement company. Our home on the Cape is not our primary residence, so we were not present when the work was being done. Needless to say, we were hesitant to have strangers in our home while we were not there, much to the contrary of our fears; the completed work that greeted us when we arrived exceeded our expectations. Not only were our replacement windows installed beautifully, but it also appeared that nothing had ever been moved. There was no mess to clean up, nor was there anything out of place.

Capizzi also replaced an old bulkhead which needed to be replaced from the ground up. They replaced the brick work and framing, then finished it with a fresh coat of protective paint. We do plan on calling upon Capizzi in the future for further home improvements, and would recommend them to anyone who might ask. Thanks again for a job well done.

We have been customers of Capizzi Home Improvement since 1998 when we had the windows and a slider as well as the roof replaced in our house. The work was done efficiently, in the timespan it had been promised on the proposal and to our complete satisfaction.

In later years, we had cedar impression vinyl siding installed as well as the front door and storm door and the bulkhead cover replaced. Again the work was done as described in the proposal and on time. The workers were courteous and the workplace was cleaned up carefully once the work was completed.
